WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR SERVICES
Our congregation is friendly, welcoming and racially and culturally diverse. We have members from over 30 nations that span every continent except Antarctica. Our worship services are reflected of our diversity. A typical worship service can include a mix of contemporary Christian music, old negro spirituals and a hymn. Our 8 a.m. service is an hour long and is followed by Small Group Fellowship at 9:45 a.m. Our 11 a.m. service lasts about an hour and a half.
You can look forward to a contemporary worship style complete with multimedia technology and a live band. Sunday services feature music from our Gospel choir and dance from the liturgical dance
team. The message is rooted firmly in the Bible and delivered in an energetic and interactive style.
Our church is anything but boring. Dress ranges from casual to business attire. You will see anything from suits to jeans. Just come comfortable.
The Order of Service is as follows: Praise and Worship led by the Praise Team, Call to Worship, Doxology, Invocation, Choral Response, Hymn, Responsive Reading, Choir and/or Liturgical Dance Team led worship, Sermon, Invitation, Offering, Announcements and Benediction.
At New Pilgrim, we believe in the message of grace. We believe that the Church is meant to be a hospital, filled with sick sinners searching for the Savior, not a museum of perfect people. Jesus himself said, "The healthy do not need a doctor, only the sick." From the pulpit to the pew, we are all sinners saved by grace, striving each day to be more like Jesus Christ.
We invite you to visit us and come see for yourself what God is doing in the life our church.
