| A year ago, I asked the families from the 29 nations
represented at our church to research a ministry in their country
that our church could support. NPBC members will preach the Gospel
and provide financial assistance to a ministry in each nation. Jesus
commanded us in Matthew 28 to go make disciples of all nations. Our
church's mission statement reads, "To reach the people of the
nations with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ through Global
Evangelism, Christian Education and Human Service."
Six members of our congregation accompanied me on our first world missions trip to the islands of Puerto Rico. The ministry we chose to support was Teen Challenge in Aguadilla. Teen Challenge is a faith-based residential drug and rehabilitation center with 173 facilities in United States and 241 centers in 77 other countries.
