WORLD MISSIONS

The Bible mandates Christians to spread the Gospel to the world. Our World Mission strategy is three-fold: First, we are intentionally growing a multicultural congregation. We have members from over 30 nations which span every continent except Antarctica. Every quarter, we "spotlight" one of our nations. We invite members from that country to dress in their native garb and give a presentation during the worship service about their country and their culture. This allows us to learn more about other nations and prepares our congregation for cross cultural ministry.

Second, our goal is to support a mission in every nation represented at our church. We invite members to identify ministries in their home countries that we can partner with for a short-term mission trip and for long-term financial support. To date, our World Mission's Team has travelled to Puerto Rico and the Navajo Nation and partnered with the Teen Challenge Ministry in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and Dilkon Baptist Church on the Navajo Reservation in Dilkon, Arizona.

Third, we intend to send and support missionaries to unreached people groups primarily in the 10/40 window. This is a rectangular area of the eastern hemisphere that extends from 10 degrees to 40 degrees north of the equator, stretching from North Africa across to China. This region has the largest population of non-Christians on the globe and is reported to be home to the majority of the world's poor. Our congregation seeks to help establish indigenous churches within this region.
