WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAM

The Worship Ministry Team is comprised of the Praise Team, Band, Sanctuary, Men, Women's and Children's Choirs, Liturgical Dance Team, Audio Visual team, Multimedia, Lighting and Hospitality ministries. This team is led by the Pastor of Worship and consists of skilled men, women and children using their talents to glorify God and edify the congregation.

The Praise Team leads the congregation in worship each week. The band consists of keyboards, strings, wind instruments and percussions. They accompany the congregational singing, praise team and choirs each week. The different choirs sing during Sunday morning worship service. The Audio Visual team is responsible for the setting and regulating the sound for the worship service and the team records the weekly services on both video and audio media. The Liturgical Dance Team uses the art of dance to worship God. The team performs a variety of dance styles. The Multimedia and Lighting teams work to create an immersive worship experience with the use of still image, motion video and lights. The words of the worship songs, hymn, sermon points and weekly announcements are projected on the screen each week. The Hospitality team is responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors and members before and during the worship service. 

Preparation for worship begins long before Sunday morning, therefore many of the ministries on the Worship Ministry Team met weekly to rehearse and prepare for Sunday service. Members of this team are also encouraged to consistently improve and sharpen their skills by attending in-house and external classes and workshops.

Working on the Worship Ministry Team requires a significant time commitment and in some cases an audition or special skill set is required to join a particular team. For more information email our Pastor of Worship.
